Lawns
The stripes in these lawns come from mowing in straight, overlapping passes with a sharp blade, at the same height each visit. Edges are trimmed along paths, driveways and garden beds so the lawn finishes in a clean line rather than tapering off into the dirt.
Hedges
Hedges are cut level along the top and straight down the faces. The before-and-after photo shows a hedge that had grown out and been brought back to a flat top and even sides. Regular trims keep a hedge dense and stop it getting so overgrown that it has to be cut back hard.
Garden beds
Garden bed work is weeding, pruning shrubs back into shape, and topping up mulch. Mulch keeps moisture in the soil and slows weeds down, which means less work between visits.
